Mumbai, Nov 8: Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana, who recently received a threat message from an individual claiming links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, was warned that the police would not be able to protect him for long.
The threatening audio message, shared by a Mumbai Police source, features a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit and claiming to be the younger brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
In the recording, the caller alleged that he had attempted to contact the actor but his calls had either gone unanswered or been disconnected. He urged Khurrana to speak to him, warning that refusing to do so could lead to consequences similar to those faced by actor Tiger Shroff.

"I am Anil Pandit speaking, I am Lawrence Bishnoi's younger brother. I called you, but you didn't pick up the phone and then cut the call. No problem, we just need to convey this message, please talk to us. If you want to settle something, then go ahead," the caller said.
He further threatened the actor, claiming that he knew the location of his house in Chandigarh as well as his current residence. He also claimed to have obtained the actor's bike number and said attempts had been made to contact him through that number.
The caller insisted that he only wanted to speak to Khurrana and said the matter could be resolved through a conversation.
In the second part of the message, the caller warned the actor against approaching the police, while claiming that even the security personnel assigned to protect him would not be able to ensure his safety indefinitely.
"You can go to the police, we have no problem with that. Those who have provided you with security, how long will they be able to protect you? You need good luck every day to stay away from us, while we only need one day of good luck to harm you," he said.
The caller also issued threats against the actor and his family members, warning that anyone who fell into their hands would be killed. He concluded by asking Khurrana to return the call, claiming that he would wait for his response.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have arrested a man accused of sending threatening emails and audio messages to several Bollywood celebrities, including Ayushmann Khurrana and Tusshar Kapoor.
The accused, identified as Vaibhav Mishra, an IT engineer, was arrested in Bengaluru on Wednesday. He was allegedly sending threatening messages in the name of Lawrence Bishnoi and posing as a member of the gangster's network.
According to Mumbai Police sources, the accused had been targeting several film personalities residing in Mumbai over the past few days.
Khurrana had reportedly received a threatening audio message from an individual claiming links with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, who allegedly demanded crores of rupees from the 'Dream Girl' actor.
