Mangalore, Apr 8: Easter Sunday celebrations took place at Corpus Christi Church Moodbidri with great zeal and devotion. The Paschal vigil started at 7:30 pm and was celebrated and preached by Fr Francis Rodrigues, Editor, Raknno Weekly.
The Solemn mass was celebrated by the Parish priest Fr Austin Peter Peres.
Fr Francis Rodrigues in his preaching stressed the need of carrying risen Jesus in all the situations of human existence and experienced the liberative power of risen saviour.
The Parishioners of Moodbidri Town church, were present in large numbers. The ceremony included Blessing of Fire, Paschal Candle, and Holy Water.
