Big B, Priyanka to Attend Opening of Hi-tech Pune Stadium


Pune, Apr 8 (IANS): Megastar Amitabh Bachchan as well as actresses Priyanka Chopra, Bipasha Basu, Dia Mirza, Preity Zinta and Neha Dhupia will be present at the opening of a hi-tech stadium here Sunday evening.

The Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium has a seating capacity of more then 40,000. The Pune Warriors Indian Premeir League (IPL) team will play their home matches at this ground.

While Big B will be a guest, Priyanka will perform a dance choreographed by Ganesh Hegde.

"Off to the opening of the Sahara stadium! Have a kick ass lavni act prepared! Totally looking forward to a killer energetic performance," Priyanka added.

Among others who will also set the stage on fire is Preity Zinta, who will be performing on the stage after three-and-a-half years.

"Good morning people! Sorry but no pz(Preity Zinta) sunday chat today as I'll be performing at the stadium at 6pm..., she tweeted.

"It's been 3 and a half years since I last performed on stage. Suddenly the butterflies have doubled," she had tweeted earlier.

Actress Dia Mirza is also fascinated by the beuty of the stadium located at Gahunje, near Pune.

"The Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium is a marvel! The magic of a live event can only be heightened in a venue like this. See you this evening," Dia tweeted.
