Mangalore, May 25: Kasaragod Deanery SCC meet was held at Bela Church Hall on Thursday May 10 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Fr Anil D'Souza, deanery convener of SCC and the organizer of the event welcomed the gathering.
Fr Walter D'Souza, Fr Anil D'Souza and the team members conducted the session on "Seva Dharm" - importance of service in SCC ward gatherings.
Parish vice SCC report was presented by the deanery SCC coordinators. There was group discussion and question answer session to clarify the doubts on SCC.
Fr Vincent D'Souza, vicar forane of Kasaragod Deanery presided over the programme. Fr Anil D'Souza, parish priest of Kayyar and the SCC convener of Kasaragod Deanery, Fr Walter D'Souza, director of SCC Mangalore diocese, Robert D'Souza,diocesan secretary of SCCs were present.
All the vice presidents, secretaries, parish SCC conveners, parish pastoral parishad members of the deanery and the religious sisters were also present as participants.
Nearly 250 people participated in the event. Basil Crasta, deanery coordinator of SCCs proposed the vote of thanks.
