Mangalore: Mimicry Artiste, Mouth Organ Maestro Trichur Nazeer to Perform in City

Mangalore, May 29: Trichur Nazeer from Kerala, a mimicry artiste who also plays the mouth organ will perform at Town Hall here om Thursday June 14 and Friday June 15 from 9 am to 9 pm.
 
At a press meet here on Tuesday May 29, Nazeer also gave a glimpse of his talent by playing the mouth organ and imitated the voice of a few politicians and actors.

He said anyone may be imitated, but no one should be hurt.
 
The artiste has performed mimicry for 40 hours continuously (1992 at New Delhi) and played the mouth organ for 101 hours non-stop (2005 at Andheri, Mumbai). He has entered the Limca Book of Records and the Guinness Book of World Records. Nazeer can imitate nearly 100 different film stars and politicians and imitate 250 different types of sounds of birds and animals, in just one hour.
 
The entry to the programme will be free, he said, and the closing ceremony will be held on Friday June 15 at 6.30 pm.
