Mangalore: Bharath Swabhiman Trust Extends Support to Anna-Ramdev Fast

Mangalore, Jun 3: Showing support for the Anna-Ramdev fast, Bharath Swabhiman Trust led the protest against corruption by sitting on a fast in front of the DC’s office on Sunday June 3.

Senior litterateur Erya Laxminarayan Alva, speaking on the occasion, said that the younger generation should awake to combat the evil practice of corruption. “Otherwise, it may raise its intensity. Also, there is need to be sincerely ourselves before speaking against corruption. Otherwise, we do not have any right to teach morality,” he said.
 
Trust office-bearers Jagadeesh Shetty, Padmanabha Shetty, Jayashree, Dr Jnaneshwari Nayak, Raghavendra Rao, Ira Nemu Poojary, BJP leader Sathish Prabhu, and activist Hanumanth Kamath were present.

    How you can talk about corruption and see BJP as a corrupt when you are with corrupt Congress?Thank God,atleast these people are doing show on corruption.But what are you doing?Preaching communal hatredness at this old age?If you are so fond os USA why you are here.Go to USA and do your preaching.You will be put behind the bars!At least here you are at liberty to bark what ever comes to your mind!If elected governmet(by the people,not by you) is on wrnong path why not organise campaign against it?What wrong in it?It is a matter of shame that being a Pastor you are supportive of corruption!God only save your people!If you are so much interested in politics,why don't you give up your Pastorhood and join active politics?There are lot a vacancies in you party for people of your caliber!

    How can Anna Hazare and Ramdev fight corruption, when they are with the corrupt BJP? It is only a show. Let the Government see to it and they are doing their best. This type of hunger strike never happens in USA. If these two were in USA they would have been put in to prision. Let the elected government perform their duties. Leave them alone. Both these guys will never be able to stop corruption in India. Government has appointed CBI and let them work to end corruption in India. CBI is doing a great job already, except that one CBI judge was caught in corruption. Victory for CBI.
