Mangalore, Jun 5: A man died in a collision between a car and a tipper-truck supplying wooden planks to a construction site at Koikude on Pakshikere–Kinnigoli Road on Monday June 4.
The deceased has been identified as 51-year-old Dhanapal Shetty, who was employed in Dubai and had come to attend a wedding in his family.
He was driving along with his wife to his apartment in Mangalore when the tragedy occurred. His wife survived with some injury.
Mulky police registered a case in this regard.

Wed, Jun 06 2012No name plate is a issue, but what about the road marking. There is so much of revenue collected in terms of road tax, but nothing goes back to make the road safe

Tue, Jun 05 2012High time,we set up standards and road marking, with speed limits. Valuable lives can be saved. Dharampal was not only a close friend, but an asset to the family and community.

THERE ARE SO MANY TIPPERS IN MANGALORE WITH SAME REGISTRATION NUMBERS.
