Mangalore: Applications Invited for ‘National Bravery Award 2012’

Applications have been invited for the national bravery award for 2012, sponsored by Indian Council for Child Welfare, New Delhi. This award is given to those children who put their life at risk to save another’s life by taking a timely decision during trying times.
 
Children aged between 6-18 years who showed bravery in the time period between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012, can apply for the award. Eligible children can send two copies of their applications to deputy director, Women and Child Development Department, zilla panchayat building, Urva Store, before July 31, 2012.
