Udupi, Jun 9: A python surprised everyone with its guest appearance at the deputy commissioner's office complex, Rajatadri, Manipal on Friday June 8 evening at around 4 pm.
The python panicked and crawled into a nearby Maruti Omni car. The owner of the car, Kishore, and the people tried to chase it away with but it did not move. Forest officials were called, but they had no snack catchers. Later Jeevan Das Shetty (Forest officer) contacted snake catching expert Gururaj Sanil.
Sanil arrived at the spot, caught the huge snake and handed it over to the forest officials at Adhi Udupi. The python was about eight feet long weighing 10-15 kg.
