Dubai, Jul 5: The team of much spoken Vijay Kumar Kodialbail's "Oriyardori Asal" Tulu comedy film, landed in Dubai International Airport on Wednesday July 4 night. The team consists of Vijayakumar Kodialbail, the man behind the making of this film along with hero Likith Shetty, heroine Ramya Barna, Prem Shetty and Prakash Shetty- the Mumbai distributers of this film. Other stars, Naveen D. Padil, Aravind Bolar and Rekha Das were unable to come due to some travel documentation issues.
They are here to attend a Press Conference scheduled for today July 5, 2012 at 12 AM in Fortune Grand Hotel, Deira, Dubai wherein media channels including Zee TV, Namma TV, Radio Spice 105.4 FM, web media www.daijiworld.com, www.gulfkannadiga.com, Film Fare Magazine, main sponsor Ravish Gowda of Fortune Grand Hotel, travel partner Lama Tours, print sponsor Digital World, other sponsors, presidents and key members of various associations of Karnataka would also be present.
The Team will also attend the grand premier show at 7PM today at Galleria, Hyatt Regency and thereafter for a normal show at Bollywood Cinema, Al Quoz, Dubai.
They will also inaugurate another show in Abu Dhabi on Friday July 6, 2012 at 1.30 PM at Eldarado Cinema, Abu Dhabi where there would be another show at 4.30 PM.
The very famous Tulu drama "Oriyardori Asal" written in 1989, was staged innumerable times across various places in India and abroad and was tried to be filmed at least 8 times unsuccessfully by various producers. It took a successful turn during the 9th attempt made by Vijay Kumar himself who shot this dream project in the year 2010 (though the songs were recorded 6 years ago),completed in the same year and released it to the public in theatres on May 27, 2011 which ran successfully for over 175 days making a history in Tulu Filmdom.
