Is it football play ground or lake?N Ramesh, president of MUDA,too extended support to build six grounds in the city mainly for football. Mr. N Ramesh are you joking please try to maintain atleast one ground then think for six ground. Foot ball ground looks like lake please organize boat race. The ground doesnt have stadium, no dressing room, no first aid facility available only steps it have. First fulfil basic requirement instead of giving big speech. When Amitakala renovate play ground,???????????? in behalf of MCC.

There is no doubt that there is the best available talent in India but no basic facilities for sports persons to practice and compete at the highest level. Look at the plight of the grounds, it is not at all meant for any kind of sports. I hate to compare but in my city, I can see so many top class grounds with lush green grass just around my community leave alone in the entire city. So why Can't we have just ONE ground dedicated to Cricket, Football and Hockey which are major sports in Mangalore and in India. As the years go by you can see only development in other countries but not in Mangalore/India. The grounds are worse than it used to be 25 years back. God save the people from the corrupt politicians who look only at personal benefits and not public interests! Wake up and bring a Change!

What a pathetic condition of the ground and you are organizing a football tournament its a very sad moment. At least prepare the ground for the future players of our country to play the game with respect and dignity instead you are organizing a football tournament on such a ground which is unplayable. Shame on the organizing committee and the sports ministry.
