Bhatkal, Jul 16: Two youths from Haveri were feared drowned in Murudeshwar beach on Sunday July 15.

Dada Peer (17) and Mohammed Hussain (15) both from Byadagi town, Haveri district had come in a group of 14 to Murudeshwar at 4 pm, after visiting Jog Falls in Shimoga. A few of them went to a temple nearby, while others stayed behind to play in the water.

Mohammed was studying in class 10. It is learnt that 10 out of the 14 students had not informed their parents. All of them are said to be minors.

Locals said that driver Anwar Basha brought all students to the beach.

The bodies of the victims have not yet been recovered. Search operations are on.

The police took the students into questioning and later released them.

Earlier the same day, a student from JP Nagar in Bangalore was saved from drowning by the local fishermen at the same beach.

Mr. Rakesh Shetty - sometimes the currents are so strong that even a very good swimmer can be pulled into the waters. It has happened so many times before.

Mr. S.D. Souza, Mangalore. You are absolutely right. Excess pocket monety spoils kids now a days. It is however, sad that some parents start fighting with you when you advice them not to give more money to the kids. This is my personal experience, when a similar case had happened within our family. Such parents never accept their fault and simply create enemity.

now a days very difficult to control teenagers particularly in this age.Not obeying parents, teachers or not taking any moral advise. Who will suffer and face uncontrollable pain, only parents, relatives and friends.Such a sad incident. Do not know why they are going near sea shore during monsoon and how any organization arrange such trip during this period specifically dangerous place during these months.

SO SAD NEWS. WE CAN'T BLAME PARENTS FOR THEIR NEGLIGENCE.

PARENTS CAN'T GO EACH TIME BEHIND THERI KIDS. THEY CAN ONLY GUIDE.

NOW EVERY PARENTS MUST ALRET MORE. NOW EACH PARENTS MUST TEACH OR SEND THEIR KID TO SWIMMING CLASS AT THE EARLY STAGE. THEN ONLY WE CAN AVOID SUCH CASES.

    1) 10 out of 14 minors not informing their parents?
    2) All of them minors?
3)From Haveri to Jog to Murdeshwar Beach under care of a driver?
    Perfect Recipe for Disaster....
In the end it's his will after all....
