Mangalore: Thieves Loot Cash, Gold from House in Kemral

Mangalore, Aug 14:
Thieves broke into a house located at Kemral-Hosakadu here on Monday August 13 night and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 55,000.
 
The house belongs to Prema, who was working at Kemral Anganwady School.

She was not at home when the incident took place. The theft came to light on Tuesday morning.
 
The thieves entered the house by removing roof tiles, and escaped with gold ornaments like earrings and chain from god’s idol and cash.
 
It is learnt that the thieves also ate some snacks and smoked bidi in the house.
 
A case has been registered in Mulky police station.
