Kundapur: A K Yusuf Appointed President of Jamia Masjid

Kundapur, Aug 15: Abdul Khader Yusuf, a prominent businessman, has been appointed president of Jamia Masjid here. The appointment was made by the Karnataka State Wakf Board, Bangalore.

Yusuf will serve as president for a period of three years beginning from July 21.

The other office-bearers are Ashfak Ahmed as secretary and Sheikh Farid Wasim as treasurer.

Haji Khatif Abu Mohammad, B Haroon, S K Abbas, Haji Sheik Husssain, Haji Mohammad Ghaus, Althaf Khuraishi, Nasir, Meer Mohammad and Nazeem Sharif comprise the Masjid governing board.

    Congrats A.K.Bhai! In kundapura only A.K. is capabale of handling situation. He is the right person to be president.Others are only backbittrers and can give only pose to photos. Only need publicity. I surprised to Altaf Khuraishis name, one he is opposed to Mr. A.K. and was doing doublegames. If kundapura need unity then he sould have been left from governing board. Allah should give him hidayat. Ameen!
