Mangalore: 'Insync' Intra-collegiate Fest Inaugurated at St Agnes

Mangalore, Aug 18: The inaugural programme of  an intra-college fest ‘Insync’ was conducted at St Agnes College here on Saturday August 18. The theme of the programme was circus with the title ‘Cirque D’ Agnes’.

The inaugural of the programme began with the releasing of party poppers in a unique fashion.

Rudolph Rodrigues, chartered accountant was the chief guest of the programme. Sr Marie Prem D’Souza, principal, Sr Maria Kripa, local guardian and Sr Olivia, joint secretary attended the inaugural.



Rudolph in his inaugural speech highlighted the basic ideas of getting together as a team. Sr Prem congratulated the students on organizing such a beautifully themed event and Sr Olivia gave her best wishes to all the participants.

Fallon Lasrado compered the programme, Rochelle Frank welcomed the gathering and Akanksha Hebbar delivered vote of thanks.

A mesmerizing welcome dance enthralled the audience.Various competitions will be held throughout the day which will be conducted department wise.

 Commerce will have best CEO event, marketing; HR, PR, finance and biz quiz competitions while the science category will have a quiz, collage, best personality, treasure hunt, mad ads and ‘Insync’ reporter.

The arts department will be challenged with a quiz, word play, best photographer, case analysis, best of waste, turn court, mock press and tattoo making competition.

The BBM students will be combined with the commerce department for all the competitions. Each participating team will have 10 members.

The BBM and the BCOM team have come up with ‘Cirque Du Mammon’ as their theme. Science students have themed ‘Cirque Du Infinity’ for their events and arts as have chosen ‘Cirque Du Soleil’.

These competitions are held for all the Agnesian students as a training purpose for other inter collegiate competitions.
