Mangalore, Aug 19: Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik has coined the ongoing Assam riots as a clash between ‘Indians and traitors’ and not between ‘Hindu and Muslims’. He was addressing a press conference here on Sunday, August 19.

He was in the city to participate in the ‘activists’ meet’ to be held at Radhakrishna Mandir, Urwa, near Maarigudi temple on Saturday August 18 and 19. He said that the commotion in Assam state is not merely related to the one state, but rather it is an issue that has to be addressed by the whole nation.

The ethnic violence has occurred because of invaders from Bangladesh. This riot did not happen all of a sudden, and the Supreme Court of India had ordered the government to check the Bangladeshi trespassers in the year 2005. However the central government has not taken any steps to stop invaders, he alleged.

Criticizing the congress party he said that it has been preparing to sell the nation and people are falling prey to vote bank politics. He called the prime minister as ‘Maun Mohan Singh’ for his ‘inaction’ over the Assam issue. He said that the Assam CM Tarun Gogoi has not spoken anything on Bangladesh invaders to the state of Assam.

Referring to the recent meeting of congress leader Oscar Fernandes with the North-East living in Mangalore he said that home ministry and the police department will do the work of safeguarding them and questioned his silence over the Bangladesh invaders.

He stated that there are about 30,000 Bangla invaders who have taken shelter in the state of Karnataka in various places like Koramangala in Bangalore, Chamarajnagar, Mysore, Kodagu districts. He urged the home ministry of the state government to find them out and to move them out of this nation. He also noted that 3000 Bangladeshi prostitutes infected with HIV Aids are in state and spreading the disease to youths in the state.

He announced that Shree Rama Sene will hold a state level meeting this Tuesday and carry out a survey to find out the Bangladeshi invaders and the report will be submitted to the home ministry of the state government urging the government to take action over this matter.

Speaking on the recent home stay attack incident he said that the attack on the girls were incorrect, however the entire episode has to be analyzed in another view too. He welcomed the interim report on home stay incident by the state women commission.

To a query regarding the coal scam that has hit the center’s reputation, Muthalik said the UPA government has been marred by the series of corruption and he supports Baba Ramdev and Anna Hazare’s fight against corruption.

Speaking on the release of the Kannada version of movie ‘Dirty Picture’ in the state, he said that Rama Sene will not allow the movie to be released and alleged actress Veena Mallik as an agent of ISI and other terror organizations of Pakistan.

Leaders of Rama Sene Kumar Malemar, Prasad Attavar among others were present.
