Qatar: KMCA Members Celebrate Eid-Al-Fitr at State Grand Mosque

Media Release

Qatar, Aug 20:
The members of Karnataka Muslim Cultural Association (KMCA) Qatar celebrated Eid-Al-Fitr at the State Grand Mosque. Muslims from all parts of Qatar participated in large numbers.

The State Mosque which opened recently is named after one of the great scholars of Islam Imam Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab. The grand Mosque was inaugurated Emir H H Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani in December 2011.

The meet and greet program has become regular affair for the KCMA members who gather at one place in large numbers to meet each other and exchange Eid greetings. One of the benefits of this meet and greet event is that every year new members join this event and the numbers gets increased.

In today’s daily busy schedule in the Gulf, the members found this event as an opportunity to meet and hug each other, which is otherwise a rare occasion. Children received traditional gifts (eidi) from the elders and the youngsters took this opportunity to enjoy the happy moments of Eid greetings. Thereafter, the members of KMCA dispersed to celebrate the Eid with their families
