Mysore, Aug 21: The Konkani Manyata Day was celebrated with grandeur by the Konkani Christian Association apart from cast, creed and religion at Infant Jesus Shrine, Purshpashram here recently.
Gracian Rodrigues, president presided over the programme.
Naveed Aslam Hagalwadi, senior mangaer at Paradigms Infotech private limited, Joe Tauro and Leonilla Crasto were the main guests.
Vally Vagga honored people who have achieved state and national respect in Konkani Language. Students who have excelled in academic exams were also honored by him.
On the occasion, Eighth string, the Konkani youth group staged a performance which enthralled the audience.
John William D’Souza along with Victoria Crasta compered and John Pinto proposed vote of thanks.
