KDA to Felicitate 72 Kerala Students for their Academic Performance

Bangalore, Aug 24: As many as 72 students of Kerala, who scored highest marks in 10th and 12th Standard Examinations in Kannada medium schools in the neighbouring State will be felicitated at Kasaragod on Saturday (August 25).

The top scoring students will be given first and second prizes, which will carry cash amounts of Rs 7,000 and Rs 6,000 respectively.

Announcing the details at a news conference, Kannada Development Authority Chairman Mukhyamantri Chandru said all the students will be given a certificate for their excellent performance, a wrist watch, school bag, Kannada-Kannada and English-Kannada dictionaries and a pen-set.
 
The programme is being organised under the auspices of Kerala Kannada Lecturers’ Association, Kasaragod at Municipal Conference Hall, Kasaragod. The local elected representatives and artistes would also be participating in the programme, he said.
