Karkala: Mini Bus Topples Killing Driver

Karkala, Aug 27: A driver of mini bus died as bus lost its control and toppled on to the field here at Sanur gram in Karkala on Sunday August 26.

The deceased is identified as Narasimha (35) hailing from Hunasuru. Arun Kumar (18), cleaner sustained minor injuries and is said to be admitted at nearby hospital.

It is learnt that the driver was speeding and as a result the bus lost control near Sanur Bridge and toppled on to a field which was 25 feet deep. Sources said that the bus hit a electric pole and then rolled over.

Town police station registered the case.
