ANF, Naxals Exchange Fire at Subrahmanya

MANGALORE, Sep 2 (TOI): There has been exchange of fire between Anti Naxal Force team and the naxals late on Sunday at Subrahmanya, about 90 kms from here.

The ANF team was waiting to ambush the naxals from the past three days after receiving confirmed reports that there was naxal movement in that area and they had visited a house in that area a few days back.

ANF IGP Alok Kumar said that the naxals, about three to four in number, had sensed their presence when they were about 30-40 mts from the ambush point and opened fire on them. The ANF team also returned fire and lobbed grenades. Kumar said the naxals escaped under the cover of darkness. Regarding injuries, Kumar said ANF team was unhurt, but was not sure about Naxals.

We will know on Monday when we comb the area. We will get more reinforcements to comb the area tomorrow,'' he said. Even if they are injured it would not be able to confirm as the area has been receiving heavy rains and blood marks if any, would be washed away,'' Kumar said.

Indian state from the time of its inception supported rich land lords or corrupt politicians and neglected its indigenous population.Tragedy of Karnataka is more serious. Most of the time political power of the state is concentrated in the hand of so called upper cast corrupt politicians supported by ultra hindu organizations.Corporate turn politicians have plundered and looted the state.See the criminal Reddy brothers or looters like Yedurappa or S M Krishnatheir shameless behavior for political gains have crossed limits of any civilization. In other hand some extent communal people of Karnataka gave shelter to coward like Muttalik and his goons who in the name of saving so called Indian culture beats innocent women and girls in broad day light. No doubt these gang of goons are the representative of that shameless culture which in the name of castism exploited and butchered its downtrodden mass. Naxal Movement is one of the way of answering back to this exploiting system. If we can take any lesson from history, we will find in abundance that no tyrant has left their tyranny just like that. People had to fight, resist or revolt by all mince.

Because it is the state, who use its absolute monopoly on violence. It is the state who kills first and nakedly justify its act.( see the most recent basubguda killing in chattisgargh where 16 innocent adivasis including 8 years old child was killed by paramilitary). Karnataka is also no exception. Adivasis of kudremukh national park area are harassed, victimized and used by local upper cast religious leaders, outsider traders and politicians for ages and then thrown out in the darkest corner with no basic facilities. Naxals came in this area as the ray of hope for these exploited people and that is why naxals in this area in spite of initial setback able to make increasing foot hold.It is only the matter of time when these exploiters BJP,Congress or JDS will be thrown in gutter of history.

In Dakshina Kannada, naxals are being fed, sheltered and financially supported by agriculturists from neighboring state who have settled here and also by the Syro Mallabar church in some areas. If this does not stop the local youth will have no option but to pick up arms and drive these agriculturists from neighboring state out, confiscate their property and distribute it among the local poor.

There is no end to Naxal menace in allover India. Naxals are friction of CPM only but they believe in “Atrocity” Even they love India more than anybody to give justice to Society suffered from Government Authority they believe. Since there is no place for “Atrocity” in civilized democratic Country like India, concerned Government Authority has to follow Srilankan Force like they crush LTTE menace forever. By offering so many packages to Naxal affected areas and people, so far all efforts of Indian Government gone in drain. Poor people affected by Naxal atrocity or Indian Force by extra judicial acts continue to suffer from both end. Earlier in Karnataka, we had few problems with Naxal activities but ever since Andhra Pradesh Government started acting tuff, they migrated to Karnataka or Maharashtra Jungle to show their power. More over few NGOs’ too showing sympathy towards Naxals & this is not a good sign for developing country like India

More than 40% of India under Naxal influence. Its one of the key factors affecting India Now. Continuous exploitation and Failure of Administration is the root cause. Social Justice initiated by Indiraji is abondoned and the country is in the grip of Capitalism and MNCs. Every political party is out to loot the country. Indiscriminate land gabbing and Industrialization resulting wide spread economic imbalance are further aggravating the issue.

Karnataka facing two important issues of serious nature under the circumstances 1) terrorism 2)Naxalism.In both cases people of Karnataka are helping security forces hand in hand.It is our sincere appeal for the two deviated groups to shun violence and come to the mainstream politics. Certainly,by violence nobody will conconquer anything in the world. On the other hand internal communal activities also a threat to Indian integrity which should be checked by the system effectively.

After knowing that ANF personnel are manning interior area of Naxal infected area, yet,Naxals are posing challenge to our security forces is a point of reckoning! Therefore,Govt need to take caution and take the confidence of locals with out giving hard times. So far Govt's approach towards locals of Naxal inflicted area are not up to the std. Therefore,Locals are not cooperating with the Security personnel.Besides,Locals were sandwiched between NAXALS and SECURITY FORCES(ANF)Therefore,Concerned Officials need to change Operational Strategy to get maximum of result.
