Mangalore: Mandd Sobhann's 129th Theatre - 'Melya Uprant' Wins Hearts

Mangalore, Sep 3:
A riot of colours enlivened the stage as Mandd Sobhann presented its 129th monthly theatre, a Konkani comedy play titled 'Melya Uprant' on Sunday September 2 at Kalaangann. 

The play was written by Arunraj Rodrigues, and directed by Christopher D’Souza, NEENASUM, with music by Eric Ozario.

The programme was sponsored by entrepreneur and philanthropist Ronald Colaco, Bangalore.

In its second year now, this play is the first to be presented by Kalaakul Repertory.
 
Mandd Sobhann president Stany Alvares honoured the director of the play on the occasion. 

The play not only entertained, but also sent out a strong message by focussing on various social issues.
