GOOD to see the entire function with the presence of Dr.Mohan Alva from Moodbidri .
But the wearing of the headgear " MUT:T:AALE" lost its cultural presentation as the same was and even now being worn by women folks in Thulu Naad:u. It would have got its traditional cultual look befitting to the occasion if it were also worn by some women guests.(The headgear "mut:t:aale" is so popular in Tulu Naad:u that once Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi when addressing in Nehru Maidan during her visit to Mangalore, wore this and said a sentence in THULU )and served the political purpose of the visit . However, the Tuluvere Parba programme was commendable. Congratulations to all those organisers.
Good to know that APPE BAASE book was released. Is it with THULU lipi also. If yes we need the copies .Tell us how to collect in Mumbai. My book "THULU LIPI THERILE " was released in Mumbai on 28.12.2012 by the President of the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy,Mangalore. Preface (MUNNUD:I) was written by Dr.Suneeta M.Shetty, and the Cover page (BENNUD:I ) was written by Dr.Ishwar Alvuru.
