Udupi: Man Looses Balance on Boat, Drowns in Sea

Udupi, Oct 26: A person died when he accidentally collided with the rim of a boat and drowned into the sea near St Mary’s island, here, on Thursday October 25.

The deceased has been identified as 46-year-old Mahalinga Kunder.

The incident took place when he was trying to pull a fish net standing within the boat. Mahalinga Kunder sustained several injuries on his head following the accident. He lost his balance and slipped into the sea.

A case has been registered at the Malpe police station.
