Puttur: Car Rams into Bridge - One Killed

Puttur, Oct 30: In a tragic road mishap, a person was killed as a car rammed into a small bridge near Uppinangady-Subramanya cross on NH 75 here on Monday October 29.

The deceased has been identified as Annu Achari (69), resident of Nagadevarahalli in Bangalore.

The incident took place when the Indica car was plying towards Mangalore from Bangalore.

Purushottam, Vinay and driver Martin, the other passengers in the car, escaped with minor injuries. They are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Mangalore.

A case has been registered by the Puttur traffic police.
