Sullia: Treasure Hunt Lands Three in Police Net

Sullia, Oct 30: Police arrested three people for attempting to dig for treasure near Dodderi in Ajjavara on Sunday October 28.

As per the information received, a group of six people were involved in the hunt for treasure. Police on authentic information raided the spot and were successful in arresting three people.

The arrested are Nagaraj from Davangere, Kishore from Sullia and Yogish from Bantwal.

However, three other accused named Harish, Sudhakar and Chandrashekar managed to escape.

Rumors of treasure in the place intrigued the accused and they decided to go on a lookout, said police sources.

The arrested were produced before a court. Police have seized a car and an auto rickshaw from the arrested.
