Mangalore, Nov 1: The Teacher Foundation, an NGO trust organized a seminar on “Effective Teacher Management for School Success” here at Carmel School, Mangalore on Wednesday October 31.

Maya Menon, founder and director of The Teacher Foundation (Bangalore) was the main speaker at the occasion.

About 50 school in-charges and correspondents from Mangalore and Udupi took part in the workshop.

The Teacher Foundation is a social organization that helps schools become good to great, stated the spokesperson.

"We work closely with principals, school administrators and teachers, to bring about this transformation. Over the last ten years, we have conducted hundreds of training programmes and touched 23,000 teachers", said Patsy Lobo, facilitator of the Teacher Foundation.

Wipro, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, GE Foundation, Reach India, Intel, EDC, Michael and other reputed organizations have supported this cause throughout.

Managed by the Shraddha Trust, a registered public non-profit trust that is committed to bringing about a transformation in the education ecosystem, the press release further stated.
