Ghala Parish has come a long way.I can not believe, I was there at the time of innagural function, and here I am witnessing Silver Jubilee. If I remember correctly, instructions were given to demolish Ruwi Sts Peter and Paul Church due to traffic problems. Fr. Barnabas use to tell the people to pray. Miracles do happen, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said not only allowed Ruwi Church to stay wherever it was and is, further he allotted a plot in Ghala for Holy Spirit Church. Subsequently a Pipe Organ was also donated to the Church by HM. We Catholics are very lucky to have 4 grand Churches in Oman and what a crowd we are. It is really wonderful.
