Mangalore: Miscreants Pelt Stones at Car, One Injured

Mangalore, Nov 29: A person was injured after a group of miscreants pelted stones at his car near Vamanjoor on Wednesday November 28 night.

It is learnt that Naushad of Farangipet who had been to his brother’s house was returning home around 10.30 pm, when the miscreants pelted stones at his car.

Bipin and Saddu of Vamanjoor along with a group of 15 other members pelted stones.

Naushad in his complaint said that the car glasses were broken; he suffered injuries over his hand and head.

A case has been registered in Mangalore rural police station.

    One incident i want to highlight... I was travelling in KSRTS Rajahamsa from Bangalore to Mangalore around 3 years. The bus left from Bangalore and at arounf 10:30 near Nelamangala one palm size stone hit the running bus from sideways. The stone broke the glass and hit on the head of the poor guy sitting next to window. He was bleeding like hell. He was then taken to government hospital for stitches.

    Conductor and driver just lodged complaint only bec the bus was damaged and they need not to pay the damage amount from their own pockets.

    No one know who threw the stone. And the bars near the nelamangala area are allowed to run till 11PM. Who is responsible all these??
    Police cannot control goondas.. they want their haftha and share from these goondas. And these people loot innocent people infront of Police.

    Ayes,

    I disagree with your opinion that people do wrong things because there is government to protect them. Its all in the discipline instilled in us.

    Haven't you seen us grumbling at bats and birds eating up ripened fruits on our own trees ? At the same time, aren't we first to throw stone at a tree that is not ours to take away a tender fruit ?

    Our children got to be taught of principles, of what is wrong and right. If we do this at home, the government need not embarrassingly teach the public that urinating/defecating in the open is wrong or spitting on public places is an offence. We don't realize that our own taxed money is spent for campaigns like this.

    Because they will not bothered about law, they know that so-called government is infavour of accused persons. Accused are roaming freely and innocents are in jail particular in mangalore and general in Karnataka

    Its nice that this news identifies at-least two people of the group that pelted stones unlike other incidents where it used to be ghost miscreants.

    Its time to inquire why Bipin and Saddu along with their companions pelted stones because it could be my car or yours tomorrow.

    Please ask them what they are suffering from !
