Udupi: Alumni Meet of Manipal University to Witness Reunion of 500 Students

Udupi, Dec 11 (TNN): The third alumni meet of the Manipal University will be held here on December 11, 12.

Over 500 former students from across the world are expected to take part in the two-day event, which is now part of the University calendar, according to Dr Padmaraj Hegde, director, student affairs and president of the Alumni Association.

The alumni of all 20 constituent institutions of the University, including the Bangalore and Mangalore campuses, will be here for the reunion.

Along with the University alumni meet, some of the institutions will also be organizing their reunions. Manipal Institute of Technology will celebrate its Silver Union Day of 1985 batch on Wednesday December 12 while the 1970 MEC batch reunion was held on Monday December 10.

Former students of Manipal College of Nursing will meet on Tuesday December 11 between 9 am and 1 pm.

Professor Selva Titus Chacko, College of Nursing, CMC, Vellore will be the chief guest for the function to be held on the college premises.
