Udupi: National-level Volleyball Champs of Mount Rosary English School Honoured

Udupi, Dec 11: The national-level volleyball champs of Mount Rosary English School were honoured here, on Saturday December 8.

Sanjeed and Akshay Shet will represent Karnataka state in forthcoming national-level volleyball tournaments in under-14 and under-17 category. Both students played their state-level match, which held on November 22, 23 in Bagalkot in Karnataka.

School management, staff members, well wishers, Santhekatte Taxi Union members, Auto Rickshaw Union, Goods Tempo Union, JCI Kallianpur and many more peoples honoured these national-level champs.

A grand procession was arranged by the School Management Committee, from Ashirwad junction along Santhekatte junction and ended in the school ground. The two honored students as well as all the state-level participates taken in open vehicle till the school.

During the procession, Mount Rosary Church assistant parish priest, school headmistress Sr Adriana, social workers Clarence, Chinmayya, Umesh Shetty, Muralidhar Suverna, Stany Cornalio and many others were present.

After the procession, school correspondent Fr Philip Neri Aranha, honoured the students on behalf of the management.
