Yeddyurappa Warns of En Masse Resignation of his Supporters

Mandya, Dec 13 (PTI): Daring the BJP to take action against the 13 MLAs who threw their lot with him and attended the formal launch of his KJP party, former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa said they would resign en masse if the situation so warranted.

"In the coming days most of our supporters will take a decision to tender resignation to join KJP. If circumstances so warrant, they will resign en masse", he told reporters here after offering worship at the Nimishamba temple.

Under the prevailing situation, Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar should resign, he said.

Fearing loss of numbers, the BJP's state core meeting at Belgaum had yesterday refrained from taking any action against the MLAs, who defied the party diktat and shared the dias with Yeddyurappa at the formal launch of KJP at Haveri on Dec 9.

Yeddyurappa, who also offerred prayers at the tomb of Tippu Sultan, said his party was built on secular ideology and that he needed the support of all sections of society.

There are lot many threats and counter threats exchanged through press media.
However, we have to watch the developments on the basis of :
    1. Action and inaction for political compulsions, or in the interest of the state or for Principles.
    2. What is the real purpose of split, merely personal, ideological or for principles?
    3. Whether reality differs from the statements?
    4. How the election would be fought? whether there will be alliance or fight against each another?
    6. Any amount of development will not benefit humanity if there is no peace and tranquility. We can see this in LIBYA, IRAQ, SYRIA etc.
    6. People of the region have become intelligent enough to understand the politicians and their intention, ability to serve the people.

This was the same Yeddy under whose leadership Church attacks , Pub attacks took place , and world famous report for Someshekara published saying 'No one attacked the churches ' , it is the same Yeddy who invite cops in Vidhana soudha to the ensure the independent MLA are disqualified and Govt would survive , now has realised that when people walk out of BJP truly realise the value to all sections of the society .
