Mangalore: Ferarites Global to Present 'Sangon Mugdana' on Jan 12

Mangalore, Dec 16: Ferarites Global in association with St Francis Xavier Church, Ferar is celebrating “Ferar Fest” on January 12, 2013 at Church Grounds, Ferar.

The event will include Pradeep Barboza's “Sangon Mugdana” drama featuring comedian king Dolla and his team. The evening programme will also be packed with Claude D'Souza's musical nite with a galaxy of singers. Several games and food stalls will add a festive atmosphere to the event.

Entry will be free for all. Organizers are expecting a huge crowd from nearby parishes like Kinnigoli, Niddodi, Muchur, Kuppepadavu, Moodbidri, Kaikamba, and Bajpe. Return transport will be arranged for the crowd from nearby parishes.


The main purpose of this event is to bring Ferarites from all parts of the world under one umbrella and share moments of happiness with them, and in the meantime raise funds for construction of SFX school building.

Joseph Mathias, NRI entrepreneur from Dubai will be the chief guest. NRI entrepreneurs Leo Rodrigues, Abu Dhabi, James Mendonca, Dubai and Konkani drama writer and actor Pradeep Barboza will be the guests of honour.

Vincent Pereira, convener of the programme said, "Preparations are under way to make this evening a memorable one." He lauded the sponsors for their wholehearted and generous support. A few of them have asked not to disclose their names.

Parish priest Dr Pius Pinto has requested drama and music lovers to come in large numbers. Approximately 2,500-3,000 people are expected to attend, he said.

Ferarites Global takes this opportunity to invite each and every one and specially those who are on vacation at the time of the event to attend and enjoy the evening.

    I am a proud Ferarrite and looking at the laudable developments at Ferar fills me with joy and enthusiasm. Credit goes to Vincy who has taken so many initiatives and tirelessly works towards bringing the Ferarrite diaspora under one umbrella. It is indeed noteworthy to point out the encouragement of some of our Parish Priests like Fr. Maxim and Fr. Pius which helps further these efforts and convert the goodwill into fruitful reality. My prayers go out for every success of the parish activity.

    Congratulations Ferarites Global for your upcoming Ferar Fest event.Surely the "Sangon Mugdana" drama would be a main attraction of the program as it is a supherhit drama written by wellknown young writer & director Mr. Pradeep Barboza Paladka and is already appreciated by the audiences in the Gulf as well as in Mangalore.     All the best with this global event. The progrmme will be a total entertainer with songs, dance and fultoo comedy drama "SANGON MUGDHANA" which had more than 13 shows all over india, quatar , kuwait and uae.
