Dubai: Emirates India Fraternity Forum Holds Sports meet

Dubai, Dec 30: Emirates India Fraternity Forum, UAE, Karnataka chapter along with its North India chapter organized sports meet for its members at Sharjah University Ground on Friday December 28.

The sports meet which began at 8 am was inaugurated by the coordinator of EIFF Janab Aliyaar Saab.

There were a total of six teams wearing colorful t-shirts representing Deira, Bur Dubai, Sharjah, Abu-Dhabi and Northern States two teams. The major highlight of the evening was that most of the members irrespective of their age participated in one or the other event.

The sports meet featured many activities and games such as 100 meters, 200 meters, 4X100 relay, kabbadi, volley ball, football and tug of war. 

The Deira and Abudhabi team shared the championship equally.

The winners were as follows: 100 meters and relay was won by Abu Dhabi, 200 meters by Deira, Kabbadi and volley ball by Abu-Dhabi and football and tug of war was won by Deira.

Each and every participant not only actively participated in the sports meet but also made sure that the games were played in the best of spirits. Discipline was followed by every member and the volunteer’s contribution was also one of the major highlight of the day.

The meet concluded with prize distribution to the winners followed with vote of thanks by Abdul Razak sheik.

    Congratulations to EIFF-UAE entire team for conducting very well organized sports meet. Keep up the good work through helping less fortunate in our community. Most of the Karnataka members and North Indian brothers attended and participated in various games. Nice to see team spirit and look great with colorful outfit. You guys at entire day have a very good understanding and togetherness which is shown at every occasion. The performance of all the participants was commendable. Very good Coverage by Daijiworld.     My sincere thanks to Daijoworld for
    covering this events. It is very nice to watch the players in different color T shirts. It looks it has arranged very nicely. EIFF has provided an opportunity to its members to show their ability in the gulf region.
