Kundapur: 'Donors Must Collaborate with Govt for Social Devt'

Kundapur, Jan 10:
"There is no doubt for progressing in a social development if the donors provide assistance with government; this is the permanent contribution and pro-social programme", said Koteshwara ZP member Ganapathi T Shreyan on the occasion of unveiling  the newly constructed second division Silicon Chamber of the Hindu burial grounds, recently.

The Hindu burial was constructed worth of Rs 4.5 lac; Rs 2.5 lac was received as donation from in the memory of the wife of Keshava Nagappa Bhat and Rs 2 lac was donated by theKoteshwara gram Panchayat.

Koteshwara Lakshmikantha Bhat, Bangalore, handed over the newly constructed second division Silicon Chamber of Hindu burial.

Koteshwara gram panchayat president Rajashekar Shetty presided on this occasion, taluk panchayat member Manju Billava, Hindu Rudra Bhumi president K Ganesh Kamath, Social worker Shanker Ankadakatte,Panchayat vice president Opillya Desilva, PDO Ibrahimpur, Koteshwara Shri Kotalingeshwara temple service committee president Prabhakar M Shetty Mudugopady, member Gururaj Rao engineer were present on this occasion.

On this occasion Koteshwara Lakshmikantha Bhat, Bangalore, Hindu Rudra Bhumi president K Ganesh Kamath, contractor Rajesh Prabhu, Hindu Rudra Bhumi in-charge Ranganath Bhat were felicitated on behalf of the panchayat and villagers.

Gram panchayat member Sukesh Shetty welcomed and presented the key note address, journalist Ganapathi Vaidhya compered while secretary Sandesh Shetty thanked the gathering.
