Kannada Koota Reopens School to Teach Kannada to Kids

Kannada Koota UAE, Dubai which has been conducting activities to promote Kannada culture and language since 2005, has now reopened Kannada school to teach the language to Kannadiga children under 'learn Kannada and teach Kannada' slogan.
 
This was a result of the efforts of all the directors who are working to promote Kannada in UAE. New Kannada teachers Gururaj and his wife are teaching Kannada in the reopened school. Classes are held at 9.30 am every Friday.

The school was reopened at a ceremony held at Mudra Dance and Music School, Al Attar shopping center in Karama Dubai.
 
Kannada Koota president Sadan Das welcomed the guests while former president Aruna Muthugdur briefed the parents about the Kannada classes. Veerendra Babu, secretary, arranged the library and Mallikarjuna Gowda, treasurer along with directors Manjunath and Sandeep Kumar decorated the puja event. At 9.30 am directors Uma vidyadar with Suma Aruna Muthugdur along with Vidyadar Hiremath performed the puja and mahaa mangalaarathi. The Kannada school launched with a prayer to Goddess Sharadha and Lord Vigneshwara.
 
Kannada Koota requests parents to encourage their children to attend classes to learn Kannada which will be very helpful back home in Karnataka.
 
Many parents applauded the Kannada Koota efforts for running the school and thanked the committee members and advised their kids to learn Kannada and make use of the facilities.
 
Kannada Koota thanks all the parents for participating in the event and making the program successful.

    Similarly, Konkanas and Tuluvas should start teaching Konkani and tulu and open respective schools Tulu and Konkani schools )in Karnataka, Mumbai, Middle east.
