Sullia: 12 Injured in Bus-Tempo Trax Collision

Sullia, Jan 19: A tempo trax collided head-on with a KSRTC bus near Paladka bridge in Peraje here on Friday January 18.

The tempo trax from Bangalore after pilgrimage to places like Dharmasthala and Subramanya was heading towards Madikeri, while the KSRTC was plying from Mysore to Bhatkal.

Chennapatna resident Shankar (33) who was a passenger in the tempo is said be critical and is admitted to a hospital in Mangalore.

There were 12 persons in the tempo including the driver, and all are said to have sustained minor injuries. They are identified as driver Rajkumar, passengers like Krishnappa, Srinivas, Anil Kumar, Ranjith, Srinivas, Thatayya, Raghavendra, Spoorthi and Santhosh.

The tempo trax was going towards Bhagamandala via Subramanya-Sullia road.
