Mangalore, Jan 25: 'Make A Difference' is a nonprofit organization which works across 23 cities of India, with children living in shelter homes and orphanages to provide them with a blooming future.

"Make A Difference (MAD) has planned to organize ‘Dream Camps’ to empower children along with a personality development programme and to dream big about their future. MAD has decided to hold the 'Dream Camp', in Mangalore on the January 26 and January 27, at the Aloysius Boys’ Home in Ullal", said Anjali Rao PN, public relations intern of 'MAD' addressing a press meet held in the city.

She also added that the camp will include a variety of sessions which are customised according to the age groups, gender and abilities of the children, while trying to balance life-skill development with exposure to various career opportunities to nurture versatility. The activities include drawing competitions, science experiments, scavenger hunt and various other workshops. The closing ceremony will include, releasing of sky lanterns, at the Summer Sands Beach Resort on January 27.

'Make A Difference' was started in the city of Cochin, when college students visited a shelter home and realized the need for quality education, for children at risk and that they deserve to appreciate the beauty of life, to be able to explore the world and achieve their dreams.

So in this way 'MAD' has provided the platform for poor children where they can full fill their dreams and be a great personality in the nation. The organization is also teaching English prescribed by the Cambridge University which will be helpful to their growth.
