Mumbai: Malaika Group organizes annual get-together for senior citizens

Mumbai, Jan 25: “Malaika Group of Companies which is focusing on their business along with encouraging culture, art, talents and social services has become a role model to everyone. Senior citizens are very important in our life, without whom our life is nothing. It is our duty to keep them happy. Such programmes organized by the Mailaika Group of Companies for the senior citizens is laudable”, said Fr Dominic Vas, parish priest, St Josephs Church.

He spoke on the annual get-together Sneha Milan- 2013 of Malaika Maulti-State Cooperative Credit Society organized for the senior citizens, a unit of Malaika Group of Companies.

The president of Malaika Group of Companies, Gilbert Baptist welcomed and delivered the key-note address.

Assistant parish priest, St Josephs Church, Fr Ivan R D’Souza, Fr Ivo Dais, Fr Ivan Mascarehnas, Uttamlal Mistri, Peter Almeida, Thomas Pinyo Mulund were the chief guests for the occasion.

A tribute was paid to the departed soul of the members prior to the function.

John Crastha, Sopie D’Sa, Lawrence Mathais, Arun Norohna, Nancy I Sequeira, Loyal Baptist, Alphonsa Corda, Alex Gonsalves, Marcelena G Baptist among many others were present on the occasion.
