Mangalore, Jan 28: The parish day was celebrated at St Lawrence Church, Bondel on Sunday January 27.

The celebration began with the Eucharistic celebration by Fr Vincent Lobo, director of Gladsome home in the morning. Fr Andrew D’Souza, parish priest and Fr Patrick Sequeira, assistant parish priest were concelebrants.

The mass was followed by various fun activities and continued with a sumptuous meal.

As part of the parish day celebration, a cultural programme was organized in the evening where Walter Stephen Mendes, president of Divine Word trust was the chief guest and parish priest  Fr Andrew D’Souza presided.

Various cultural programmes like dances, jokes, songs were displayed by parishioners.

For the finale ‘Gurkar’, a Konkani drama was performed.

Rudolp Pinto, vice president welcomed the gathering; Reginal D’Souza, secretary read the annual reports; Wilfred Moras compered while Premi D’Silva delivered the vote of thanks.
