Paris, Feb 28 (IANS/EFE): Black and white dominated the ready-to-wear fall-winter collections unveiled by designers Devastee, Anthony Vaccarello and Moon Young Hee at Paris Fashion Week.
French designers Ophelie Klere and Francois Alary rolled out bicoloured and playful garments.
"This collection is based on something more cerebral than usual," Klere told EFE.
The designers were inspired by their region in southwestern France to create the drawings present in 70 percent of the garments, Klere said.
Gloves play a special role in the designs, thanks to Devastee's partnership with glovemaker Causse, and the patterns lend a rebellious air to the garments.
The show was the highlight of Made Fashion Week, an initiative imported from New York that showcases emerging designers and celebrated its first edition in Paris.
South Korean designer Moon Young Hee broke the ice for the event with her show at the Hotel de Varengeville.
