Mangalore: American Business Corner inaugurated at KCCI

Mangalore, Mar 2: American Business Corner (ABC), a part of the 'Experience America' event was inaugurated by Judy Reinke, minister counselor for commercial affairs, here on Friday March 1 at the Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry at 6 pm.

Speaking after the inauguration, Judy Reinke said,"the American Business Corner (ABC) is a true partnership and one that we are confident both sides will find valuable. From our side, the ABC provides a dedicated platform to engage with the Mangalore business community on ways to increase business ties with the US".

"ABC will succeed and thrive if both sides are committed to learn  from each other and have an open communication about how we can achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. In addition, we have nine US companies that have partnered with us on this 'Experience America' celebration over the past few days and nine universities that are participating in our educational promotion", she added.

Mohammed Ameen, president, KCCI welcomed the dignitaries and the audience. Nigam B Vasani, vice president, KCCI introduced the guests and the resource persons to the gatherings. Rammohan Pai Maroor, secretary, KCCI; Jeevan Saldanha, secreatry, KCCI and Ganesh Bhat,treasurer, KCCI were present on the dais.
