Mangalore, Mar 2: A blood donation and free health check up camp along with free medicines drive was held on March 2 at St Joseph College, Jeppu, Mangalore.
This camp was jointly organized by St Joseph College and KMC Hospital, Mangalore. Speaking on the occasion, one of the chief guests of the programme Dr Ashwini Rao, HOD of Community Dentistry, Manipal College of Dental Science, explained the importance of blood donation.
Dr Debershi Saha, blood bank officer, KMC, was also another chief guest of the programme. The correspondent of the college Fr JB Crasta wished the function a grand success.
The principal of the college, Fr Eric Crasta welcomed the gathering and proposed the vote of thanks at the end.
