Al Jubail, Mar 8: Toastmasters first ever joint division ‘E’ & ‘L’ annual conference have been slated to be conducted on March 14, 15 at Royal Commission Fanateer Conference Hall, Al Jubail, KSA.
This is the first ever joint conference conducting in the Jubail toastmasters fraternity, the conference chairman of this mega event is Mangalore based toastmaster Shameer Ahmed Kudroli.
Many events and workshops have been scheduled on these two days for the benefit of toastmasters and non-toastmasters as well. The special attraction of the event is key note speech and workshop by USA based TM Lancer Millar, 2005 world champion of Public Speaking and Irish DTM Ted Corcoran, international president 2003-2004 and director toastmasters international. Siraj Wahab– senior journalist and writer of Arab news will also present a workshop based on journalism.
The war foot arrangements are under progress. Many committees have been formed under the leadership of conference chairman Shameer Ahmed Kudroli. Eight committees such as Awards and Certificates Committee headed by TM Hamid Al Harthi, Contest Operations/Logistic & S@A Committee headed by TM Surendra Chari, Editorial, Public Relations and Media Committee headed by TM Vasudhar Gopal, Education and Training Committee headed by TM Asif Daudi, Finance and Marketing Committee headed by TM Abdulaziz Al Sharek, Registration and Coordination Committee headed by TM Jeya Shankar, Food & Catering Committee headed by TM Aziz Siddiqui and Logistic Committee headed by TM Khalid Ali Al Hoshani to make this mega event a grand success.
Two division governors namely TM Abdullah Al Sharif, Division ‘E’ & TM Javed Ansari, division ‘L’ governors are encouraging the members to participate actively in the event in order to sharpen the communications skills and hone the leadership ability. Jubail fraternity consists of eight areas with 33 clubs. Area level winners will contest in this conference to represent the division in District Level. Four contests namely international speech, table topics, humorous speech and evaluation shall be conducted on these both days. Exceeding excellence is the theme chosen for the conference.
The first ever joint conference chairman Shameer Ahmed Kudroli is an enthusiastic leader who has been a member of Global, GAS and Al Awal Toastmasters Club. Since 2007 he is in the forum and presently holding a role of Area 63 Governor, a vibrant area, he is instrument to charter GAS TM Club for company employees and Jubail Industrial Collage TM Club for the students. He is a mentor of NAMA and ARRAZI Toastmasters Clubs and sponsor for GAS and JTI Toastmasters Club and planning to charter a gavel club for Jubail local and expatriate students to improve their speaking skill and leadership ability.
Shameer as conference chairman invited all the toastmasters and non-toastmasters to register their names to the gala event to learn by witnessing the world champion’s speech and workshops.
