Mangalore: Tulu drama 'Kaas Oldipar' staged for a cause

Mangalore, Apr 7: The latest super hit Tulu drama ‘Kaas Oldipar’ by the Cha Parka team was enacted by top artistes including the trio of Devdas Kapikad-Naveen D Padil-Bhojraj Vamanjoor here on Sunday April 7.

The drama was organized for a social cause by the Swami Jyothi team, Saripalla, Mangalore.

The programme was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by dignitaries on the dais Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, S R Shetty, Karthik, Soundarya Ramesh, Anil Kembar, Rons Bantwal, and Krishnappa Mendon. 

Two financially backward athletic achievers Dhanaraj Saripalla and Madhava Saripalla were felicitated on the occasion.

Drama artistes Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Naveen D Padil, and film star Arjun Kapikad were also honoured.

The amount collected through this charity show was donated to Prakash, a cancer patient, studying in class 9. 

Drama lovers and well-wishers who gathered to watch the play enjoyed every bit of it thoroughly.
