Puttur, Apr 14: In a tragic incident, a newly married man was killed as his scooter hit a height gage pole near Baktakodi in Puttur Kaniyur road on Saturday April 13.
The deceased has been identified as Pradeep K (24), son of Sundar Poojary from Baktakodi.
The incident took place when Pradeep was riding from his home towards Puttur. It is said that Pradeep sustained grave injuries as his scooter hit the pole and he passed away on the way to the hospital.
As per information obtained, Pradeep got married to a girl from Olamogru gram around one and a half month ago.
Pradeep was working as a Chinese chef at a bar and restaurant at Olamogru and had plans of setting up a business of his own.
A case is registered at the Puttur police station.
