Mangalore, May 14: 'After SSLC/ PUC/ Diploma, What Next?,” a career guidance and scholarship awareness program was held on Tuesday May 14 at Town Hall here.

The programme was organized at the state level by CIGMA INDIA, Bangalore, and at the district level by Talent Research Foundation, Mangalore (TRF).

A book named ‘Handbook on Courses & Careers After 10th / 2nd PUC” was released on the occasion by chief guest Abdur Rauf Putige, chairman, TRF & MD, Vishwas Bawa Builders. Ameen-e-Mudassar, career counselor, CIGMA India, Saiduddin Bajpe, vice president, TRF, Abdul Hameed, general sectretary, TRF, Dr Javeed Ahmed Khan, HOD, department of E&C, Islamia Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Riyaz Ahmed, president, TRF, and Prof Vinay, department of E&C, Beary’s Institute of Technology, were also present on the dais.

Speaking after the release, Putige said that it Is laudable that a good wave of awareness had spread among the community in the present days. “It is really good to see that even parents have joined their children in the programme specially organized for students. They have come here to encourage their children and join hands in their career,” he added.

Ameen-E-Mudassar, career counselor, CIGMA INDIA, Bangalore, and a prominent speaker delivered the lecture on the two important topics of the event, ‘After SSLC, What Next?’ and ‘After PUC, What Next?’

Dr Javeed Ahmed Khan introduced the Islamiah Institute of Technology, Ameen-E-Muddassar introduced Shaheen P U College, and Prof Vinay introduced Beary’s Institute of Technology to the students.

Saiduddin Bajpe welcomed and Aspar Hussain proposed the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Rafiq, advisor, TRF, Mangalore.
