Mangalore: AJ Institute of Management celebrates annual day

Mangalore, May 15:
The 14th annual day of AJ Institute of Management, a unit of Laxmi Memorial Education Trust, here, was celebrated on Monday May 15.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest K Anil, senior regional manager, IOB, urged the students to take up challenges as opportunities and to be successful in life. He also honored the students who excelled in studies.

In his presidential address, A J Shetty, president of the trust, said that in the coming days the institute will support the students in all their curricular and co-curricular activities, so to help them in their intellectual and overall development. He distributed prizes for the students who excelled in co-curricular activities.

Vice president Prashanth Shetty also spoke on the occasion.

Director of the trust, Dr T Jayaprakash Rao read the annual report. Student council advisor Meenakshi welcomed the gathering.

The programme was followed by old students meet.

Cultural programme was presented by the students. Dr Nithin Acharya and team, winners of TV9 fame “Voice of Bangalore- 2013”, also performed on the occasion.

Saurabh and Anusha proposed the vote of thanks, while Shabari Vinay compeered.
