We all had wondered why Anand did not move to a bigger city to further his career. He was seen coaching and guiding the budding athletes after he hung up his boots. Now that he is no more, we all will miss a friendly , amiable and likeable person. He was full of talent.According to me, he surely would have achieved higher placings had he chosen a bigger city for training and exposure.Anand was regarded equal among stars like vandanas, p k yashodhar,Anil, p.v shashikanth, dayanand kamath,Manjunath Mallya,Lokanath Bolar, to name a few who brought laurels to Dakshina Kannada and Mangalore city.
