M’lore: BARC director Sekar Basu to grace SAC graduation ceremony

Mangalore, May 30: Sekar Basu director, Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai will be awarding over 500 students with their degree on St Aloysius Graduation Day this Saturday June 1 at 3 pm in the Loyola Hall, St Aloysius PU College, Mangalore.

Fr Francis Serrao president, Mangalore Jesuit Educational Society (MJES) and Provincial, Karnataka Jesuit Province will be presiding over the function.  Fr Denzil Lobo vice-president, MJES and rector, St Aloysius Institutions, Fr. Swebert D’Silva principal, Dr A M Narahari, registrar St Aloysius College will also be present at the function.

Nearly 1500 undergraduate and postgraduate students who have passed and completed their course in May 2012 will be awarded with their degree certificate during the third graduation day to be held in St Aloysius College.
  
St Aloysius College Advanced Research Centre has been recognized by Tumkur University and will be inaugurated by Sekar Basu on June 1 at 12:45 pm in the college Teletorium. This will be followed by a special lecture to be delivered by the director of BARC. Interested persons are welcome to attend the lecture.
